The attack upsets Jack, who starts screaming, which emanates a blast of power that lifts both Winchesters up off the ground and throws them against the wall, knocking them out. Sam tells Jack he isn't his dad, and as Dean enters the house, Sam calls him to the nursery where Dean, without hesitation, takes a shot at Jack, narrowly missing his head. Meanwhile, Jack stands up and asks Sam if he is his father. Realizing that Sam is inside the house, Dean grabs his gun and rushes in.

Outside, Dean stands over Castiel’s lifeless body. In the dimly lit nursery, Sam finds a fully grown Jack, naked and sitting on the floor smiling at him with gold glowing eyes.
